A little about me as a person…

When I’m not overanalysing what I’m watching, I can usually be found training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, rock climbing/bouldering, or preparing for my first Marathon.

I’m Archie Fenn, a freelance writer, journalist, and critic in the entertainment industry. I specialize in features and opinion pieces on some of the biggest pop-culture franchises, including Superhero blockbusters, indie movies & tv shows, and popular anime series.

My love for movies and pop culture began with repeated viewings of The Mummy as a kid, ignoring the fact that I was way too young to watch it.

Since then I have applied myself to creative writing, learning to draw, and going to film school to better understand the forms of storytelling I’ve fallen in love with. I also spent most of my teenage years analyzing and writing about films, shows, anime, and games that would entrance me into repeat viewings and playthroughs. Now, as an adult, I still do that, but now I do it for my favorite online publications, as well as my own blog.
